About Lara

My mission is to help people move better in their bodies. With extensive training as a ballet dancer, competitive pole dancer, and classical musician, I have been teaching and performing for almost two decades.

I was drawn to Structural Integration after 25 years as a mover, because it presented a holistic approach to preventing and rehabilitating injury and pain in my body. Structural integration has enriched my personal training and performance, and opened my eyes to the unlimited potential of hands on work to facilitate faster and more effective change in the body. I help my clients to feel and move better in their bodies, regardless of their previous knowledge of the body or movement.

My work focuses on balance in the body, and the impact of our everyday choices for our bodies. Using the lens of biomechanics - how the body interacts with gravity and the surrounding environment - my clients learn how to help themselves, and to choose the change they desire in their bodies.

I am a graduate of the New School of Structural Integration in Laguna Beach, CA.
